We saw it at Paris Fashion Week this winter, Chanel went all in when it came to chic and fancy sportswear pieces! But what really caught our attention was Karl Lagerfeld's new creation : the sneaker.
Every single outfit was accessorized with sneakers, and as Chanel explained, Lagerfeld was "play[ing] with the House codes by mixing the ultimate feminine symbol of couture, the corset, with the ultimate symbol of sportswear, the sneaker."
Those sneakers are mostly made out of python, tweed, lace and pearls. Something that definitely suited Cara Delevingne at the fashion show! They're designed by Massaro, an atelier owned by Chanel and each pair would cost $4000. Of course, they are all handmade and one pair roughly takes 30 hours to make.
How far would you be able to go for the perfect pair of sneakers?
